Sleeps Four | Dog Friendly

Lakeside is aptly named for its gorgeous views over one of our private lakes. With two bedrooms and an open plan kitchen / living area that looks out to the water, this is a great space for families or those wanting to bring four along for the adventure. The enclosed garden space makes this a great bet for dog owners too.

Treetops.

Sleeps Two | No dogs

If you’re looking for something a little unique, then Treetops shares the same gorgeous views over the water that Lakeside does, but is situated a little further down to give you your own space. Sleeping two and with a luxurious outdoor bath, this is a real bolthole for two. We’re unable to accept dogs in this one though.

Your private setting in nature

Wondering if the reality is every bit as stunning as the gorgeous photo of Treetops above? Oh it certainly is! Based down a private lane, this peaceful setting is second to none; there’s the views overlooking the lakes, along with 40 acres of woodland to explore. When it comes to space, you’ll have a lot. And the neighbours? They’ll include ducks, kingfishers and the odd dear, if you’re quiet enough of course!

"Lucia is an incredible host and the cabin is warm, inviting and immaculate. Everything is perfectly thought through, comfortable living space, lovely sheets and towels, stunning woods to explore. The Dawn chorus is very special and you really feel wonderfully secluded yet the ‘real world’ is a stones throw for all your food shopping needs."

A truly wonderful place to stay. An amazing location for relaxing, walking in beautiful woodland and watching wildlife all around you - total peace and tranquility to re-charge your batteries. The cabin was spotless, comfortable, cosy and had everything we needed. Lucia and her family made us very welcome and provided a delicious cream tea on arrival.

This place is a lovely Devon gem! We had a relaxing week with plenty of forest walks, fishing, chilling and exploring. There are many places to visit in the area but if you decide to be still and read books and do yoga, the place is perfect for it! Very quiet area, the cabin is so cosy and well equipped, it allows you to relax and submerge in the surroundings.

An absolutely stunning location, very peaceful and secluded, and an incredibly beautiful & impressive accommodation, super clean, comfortable and has everything you need. Also a warm & friendly host, who is very helpful & lovely. I would highly recommend and would love to visit again. Thank you for having us.

Lucia was a wonderful hostess. very friendly, helpful and responsive. Good clear instructions on how to get there and the lodge was fab! Cosy yet modern and spotlessly clean, in peaceful surroundings. Lovely artwork around the lodge, all made by Lucia herself, which you can buy, along with their own wonderful honey.
